Good Morning Reader,

That’s when you know God truly sees you and truly hears you and truly knows every single thing about you including the stuff you’d God rather not know.

Yes.

That’s when you know that God is fully aware of the dreams and desires you have, spoken and unspoken, and that’s when you know that perhaps you’re on the right path here, or on the wrong road altogether.

Yes.

When it gets…personal.

Undeniably and unequivocally personal.

Woman at the well personal.

Nicodemus by the fire personal.

Pete fish and bread breakfast personal.

Yes.

Beloved,

Your God, our God, is personal.

And that’s a fact.

And it’s in those personal moments that you come to truly believe.

It sure is.

Believe that God’s really with you, really for you, really using you in the way God created you…and really will be with you until your very last breath here on earth; the day when the plans and the purposes that were established FOR you before the foundation of the world and lived out BY you while you were here are met with the words, “It is finished.”

Yes.

Beloved, God is personal.

Knowing how you were fearfully and wonderfully made, knowing how you were fashioned, molded, equipped, empowered, and sent.

God really DOES know the plans that God has for you because HELLO - God WROTE the plans for you.

Yes.

One in a million?

Try 8+ billion.

Two mornings ago I wrote about my desire, my passion, to remove stumbling blocks for people in order to create spaces of belonging.

Today, this morning, in my daily reading, not chosen by me but simply laid out for me via my DRB, I read these words…

“Heap it up! Heap it up! Prepare the way. Take the stumbling block out of the way of my people.”

And I’ll tell ya what Beloved, a girl just can’t make this stuff up.

Our God is personal.

Believe it.

Believe you are worthy of God’s one-to-one attention in a sea of eight billion plus…..cuz you are.

Talk to God.

And listen to the ways God speaks to you…in private.

For it is in those times, that God will feel the most real to you.
